Celebratory Send-Off for Jallianwala Bagh Express at Tata Station After Three-Week Halt
The Jallianwala Bagh Express resumed its Tata to Amritsar service, marked by festivities at Tata Station.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Jallianwala Bagh Express, connecting Tata and Amritsar, resumed operations at 9:10 pm after a three-week suspension.
Train drivers Vinay Kumar Ram and BK Singh Atul Gorai were honored at the event.
The Central Gurdwara Management Committee presented them with shawls and bouquets.
Festivities at the railway station included the distribution of laddus.
Dignitaries present were Bhagwan Singh, Shailendra Singh, Gurcharan Singh Billa, Lakhwinder Singh, Ravindra Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Ranjit Singh Matharu, Savinder Singh, Sukhdev Singh Bittu, Surendra Singh Shinde, Jaswant Singh Jasu, Amrik Singh, and others.
The station reverberated with "Bole So Nihal Sat Shri Akal" as the train departed.
This event signifies the community’s joy and the train’s importance in connecting Tata and Amritsar.
