A distressing incident occurred near Kapali Lakdi Tall, where a middle-aged tailor was brutally attacked during an attempted robbery, leading to serious injuries and hospitalization.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a violent episode on Wednesday afternoon, a middle-aged tailor named Gaus found himself the victim of a brutal attack near Kapali Lakdi Tall in the Kapali OP area, adjacent to Jamshedpur, which resulted in serious head injuries.

Local residents discovered the injured man by the roadside and quickly alerted the authorities, prompting a swift response from the police who ensured his immediate transfer to MGM Hospital for medical treatment.

Gaus, who is employed as a tailor in Sakchi and resides near Gaus Nagar Tower Line, was reportedly en route to fulfill a work-related commitment when he was intercepted by a young assailant.

The confrontation escalated when the assailant attempted to rob him of his money. Upon resistance, the attacker resorted to violence, striking him on the head with a rod, inflicting severe injuries before fleeing with Rs 120.

The police have launched an investigation into the attack, focusing on apprehending the perpetrator and understanding the circumstances leading to this heinous act.
