Dr. Nagendra Singh Lauded for Providing Free Medical Services to the Needy in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur – The Principal Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Nitin Madan Kulkarni, praised Dr. Nagendra Singh for providing free medical services to the needy at the conclusion of a free medical camp organized at Ganga Memorial Hospital today.

Dr. Kulkarni described Dr. Singh as an example for society and urged other doctors, especially young ones, to learn from him.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Kulkarni, special guest Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi, and Senior SP Prabhat Kumar.

Dr. Kulkarni highlighted that humanity is alive only because of people like Dr. Singh and commended his service in today’s expensive medical landscape.

Senior Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar also lauded Dr. Singh’s efforts, acknowledging that medical treatment has become unaffordable for many people.

Dr. Nagendra Singh, a surgeon at Ganga Memorial Hospital, performs free surgeries for poor patients every year in memory of his mother.

So far, Dr. Singh has performed over 15,000 free surgeries, with this year’s target set at 400 patients.

Social worker Vikas Singh called for Dr. Nagendra Singh to be honored with the Padma Shri award for his service, a sentiment supported by all present.
