Yoga guru honored at Asia Pacific Yogasana Sports Championship in Colombo
Anshu Sarkar, an international yoga guru from Jamshedpur, received the ‘Iconic Community Impact’ Award in Sri Lanka.
JAMSHEDPUR – Renowned yoga expert Anshu Sarkar from Jamshedpur has been honored with the ‘Iconic Community Impact’ Award at a prestigious ceremony in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The award was presented during the Asia Pacific Yogasana Sports Championship and Icon Award-2024 event.
Organized by the World Fitness Federation of Yogasana Sports International (WFFYSI), the ceremony took place on August 22 at Hotel Marino Beach, Colombo.
Shivam Bhadauria, International President of WFFYSI, personally presented the award to Sarkar.
The event saw participation from yoga experts across Asia, highlighting its international significance.
Chalaka Gajabaah, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, inaugurated the ceremony.
Notable attendees included Ritu Rawat, M Rajesh Acharya, Dr. Loknath Nath, and Tariq Warsi.
Sarkar, who currently serves as the India President of WFFYS, has received widespread congratulations for this achievement.
Yoga enthusiasts, sports organizations, and well-wishers from Jamshedpur have expressed their joy at Sarkar’s recognition.
