JAMSHEDPUR – Panic briefly spread outside Tatanagar Railway Station after two cobras were discovered inside open baskets abandoned near the main entrance.
Moreover, a snake charmer reportedly left two baskets unattended nearby. Both baskets remained uncovered outside Tatanagar station.
Meanwhile, local residents noticed movement inside the baskets. They later discovered highly venomous cobras inside them.
Furthermore, the snakes were identified locally as गेहूंअन snakes. People gathered quickly near the station entrance afterward.
However, the rescue team reached the location soon after information emerged. Members safely captured both cobras without injuries.
In addition, officials informed the Forest Department regarding the incident. The DFO also received details about the rescue effort.
Besides, rescued snakes will later be released inside a forest area. Authorities planned the release under safe supervision.
Consequently, fear spread briefly among passengers and nearby vendors. However, the rescue prevented any serious incident outside the station.
