Jamshedpur Shines in 5th CISCE Regional Yoga Championship
Gulmohar High School hosts event; local athletes excel in multiple categories
Jamshedpur athletes dominated the 5th CISCE Regional Yoga Championship, winning in various age groups.
JAMSHEDPUR – Gulmohar High School successfully hosted the 5th CISCE Regional Yoga Championship, featuring 112 athletes from Bihar-Jharkhand region.
Local athletes showcased exceptional skills, securing victories in Under 14, Under 17, and Under 19 categories.
The championship saw participation from 112 athletes representing the Bihar-Jharkhand region.
Top performers from this event will be selected for the national-level artistic and rhythmic yoga competition.
The national event is scheduled to take place from October 2 to 5 at Dayanand Public School, Jamshedpur.
Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Chief Consultant and HOD Medicine at Tata Motors Hospital, Jamshedpur, graced the event as the chief guest.
Other notable attendees included Vipin Pandey and Sudha Jha.
Principal Preeti Sinha and Vice-Principal Archana Srivastava commended the sports teachers for efficiently managing the event.
Sports instructors Iqbal Singh, Sangeeta Herenz, and Shivani Kumari received praise for their role in organizing the championship.
The event showcased the growing interest and talent in yoga among the youth of Jamshedpur and surrounding regions.
