Loyola School’s Azionare 2024 Celebrates Bollywood Theme

Cultural fest draws participants from 17 schools across Jamshedpur

Loyola School Jamshedpur’s annual cultural extravaganza, Azionare 2024, showcased diverse talents with a Bollywood-themed event.

JAMSHEDPUR – Azionare 2024, the annual cultural festival of Loyola School, was held on August 23rd. A total of 17 institutions from throughout the city participated in the event.

The event was organized around a Bollywood theme and featured 15 competitions that encompassed a variety of artistic and academic disciplines.

Following the customary lamp-lighting ceremony, Fr. Vinod Fernandes, Principal of Loyola School, delivered a welcome address.

The guest of honor was Sajid Ali, an alumnus and director of "Laila Majnu," who underscored the significance of comprehensive education.

Ali, a 2003 graduate, provided his perspective on the influence of Loyola School on his development as a filmmaker.

The event included eight off-stage competitions, such as "RRR," "Saudagar," and "Dil Se."

The talents of the candidates were exhibited in on-stage events such as "Rock On," "Kitne Aadmi They," and "Golmaal."

The closing ceremony was adorned with the grandeur of Shatakshi Kiran, Ms. Universe Jharkhand.

The day concluded with a Ramp Showcase entitled "Andaz Apna Apna," which emphasized confidence and flair.

The overall champions of Azionare 2024 were Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya.

Carmel Junior College was designated as the competition’s overall runner-up.

The Loyola Band concluded the day’s festivities with an energetic performance.

The vote of gratitude was delivered by Jayanthi Sheshadri, the Vice Principal of Loyola School.

The event offered a forum for emerging artists to exhibit their creativity in a variety of cultural contexts.
