Devotees Participate in Kanwari Yatra on Last Monday of Sawan in Jamshedpur

Hundreds of devotees join Jugsalai Kanwari Mandli’s annual Kanwari Yatra, concluding at Kharkeshwar Dham.

Jamshedpur witnessed a grand Kanwari Yatra, where devotees carried holy water from Sonari river to offer it at Kharkeshwar Dham.

JAMSHEDPUR – On the final Monday of Sawan, the Jugsalai Kanwari Mandli organized a Kanwari Yatra from Jugsalai, with devotees collecting water from Sonari river and offering it at Kharkeshwar Dham Temple.

This annual tradition has been ongoing for several years, with hundreds of devotees walking from Dumuhani river to Sonari, and then making their way to Kharkeshwar Dham Temple in Jugsalai.

Accompanied by music and chants of "Baba Bholenath ki Jai," the devotees joyfully participated in the yatra, offering prayers and performing Jalabhishek at the temple.

The yatra, held on the last Monday of Sawan, saw a massive turnout, with devotees coming together to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva.
