Independence Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Sahara Complex in Jamshedpur

The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Sahara Complex Society in Ramnagar, Kadma, Jamshedpur.
JAMSHEDPUR – The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with much fanfare at the well-maintained premises of Sahara Complex Society in Ramnagar, Kadma.
Senior journalist and social worker Anni Amrita was the chief guest, hoisting the national flag and leading the residents in singing the national anthem.
In her address, Anni Amrita emphasized the importance of the hard-earned freedom and the sacrifices of martyrs, urging everyone to appreciate its value.
She encouraged the women, elderly, and children present to contribute to the country’s development in meaningful ways.
Anni Amrita also praised the beauty and cleanliness of the sports ground within the Sahara Complex, congratulating the women and children for their efforts in maintaining the space.
She highlighted that small, significant efforts like these can bring positive change in the country.
The program was organized with the commendable efforts of Society President Neelu Upadhyay, Secretary Tara Singh, Treasurer Chhabi Vishwas, and members Maya Singh, Geeta Gaur, Renu Singh, Vandana Mishra, Pratima Sharma, Manju Sur, and Sadhan Bose.
They emphasized that the playground was developed to encourage children to engage in sports and enhance their physical and mental health, rather than spending excessive time on mobile phones.
The role of women was particularly vital in creating and maintaining this public space.
The Independence Day celebrations also featured children performing patriotic songs and dances, while elders sang nostalgic patriotic tunes.
The program concluded with the distribution of toffees, bringing joy to the children and evoking childhood memories among the elders.
