Rising Crime in Jamshedpur: Man Shot Dead in Parsudih

A 32-year-old man was shot dead on Gadra Main Road, causing panic in the area.

In a shocking incident, a 32-year-old man was shot dead in broad daylight on Gadra Main Road under Parsudih police station in Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – The crime rate in Jamshedpur continues to rise as a 32-year-old man named Loknath Thakur, also known as Pukki, was shot dead on Gadra Main Road near the community hall in Parsudih.

The incident took place early in the evening when Loknath was riding his Hero Honda motorcycle.

Unidentified assailants opened fire on him, leaving him dead on the spot.

The sudden shooting spread panic throughout the area.

Local residents immediately informed the Parsudih police, who arrived at the scene and recovered four to five empty bullet shells and one live cartridge.

The body was sent for post-mortem examination.

Preliminary reports suggest that the incident may be the result of personal enmity.

City DSP Sudhir Kumar, while providing details, stated, "The investigation is ongoing to determine the exact reasons behind this attack."

He added that the police are reviewing nearby CCTV footage to gather more information about the crime.

He emphasized that further investigation is needed to uncover the motives behind this brutal act.
