Jamshedpur Hosts Massive Kalash Yatra with 5,001 Women Devotees

Jambu Akhara Committee organized a grand Kalash Yatra and Jalabhishek ceremony, drawing thousands of devotees to Jamshedpur.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Jambu Akhara Committee orchestrated a grand Kalash Yatra and Jalabhishek ceremony at the Shri Shri Lingeshwarnath Temple, marking the fourth Monday of Shravan month.
The event saw an impressive turnout of 5,001 women devotees participating in the religious procession.
Chief Patron Amarpreet Singh Kale and Patron Bunty Singh led the celebrations, which began with traditional rituals at the temple.
Devotees collected water from the Swarnarekha river as part of the Kalash Yatra.
The vibrant procession, accompanied by band music, wound its way through key city areas including Mango Bada Golchakkar, MGM, and Apex Hospital.
Two sets of traditional music bands, a DJ vehicle, and a tableau depicting Lord Shiva added to the festive atmosphere.
The temple made special arrangements for the Jalabhishek ceremony, allowing devotees to offer water to Baba Lingeshwarnath.
Social workers Shiv Shankar Singh and Pappu Singh were among the notable participants in the event.
The procession featured various community members, highlighting the inclusive nature of the celebration.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the temple committee distributed prasad to all devotees.
