Two Injured in Late-Night Car-Bike Collision Near Ghatsila
A late-night collision between a car and a bike on NH 18 near Phuldungri Chowk left two young men seriously injured.
In a severe accident late Friday night, a car and a bike collided on NH 18 near Phuldungri Chowk in Ghatsila, resulting in serious injuries to two young men on the bike.
JAMSHEDPUR – Two young men were critically injured in a late-night collision between a car and a bike on NH 18 near Phuldungri Chowk in the Ghatsila police station area.
Local dhaba and hotel owners immediately assisted the injured, transporting them to the Sub-Divisional Hospital with the help of a 108 ambulance.
After initial treatment, both were referred to MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur.
One of the injured, Fogen Mardi, recounted that they were returning to their home in Bagjata village from a relative’s house when the accident occurred.
As they turned left from the cut on the four-lane near Phuldungri, a speeding car from the opposite direction hit their bike, causing them to fall onto the road.
Following the incident, the police and hotel staff chased the car for about 3 kilometers and caught it near Tamakpal village.
The car, driven by Hiramay Mukhi, dragged the bike along with it. Mukhi claimed that he was heading to Baharagora with his family when the bike suddenly appeared from the wrong side, leading to the accident.
Upon receiving the information, Ghatsila police station in-charge Madhusudan De seized both the car and the bike and took them to the station.
