Tata Steel Foundation to Host Art and Craft Exhibition in Jamshedpur
Tata Steel Foundation’s Jamshedpur unit will host a four-day Art and Craft Exhibition from September 12 to 15, 2024, at Sonari Community Centre, featuring works by women artisans from local bustees.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel Foundation’s Jamshedpur unit is set to organize a four-day Art and Craft Exhibition at the Sonari Community Centre from September 12 to 15, 2024.
The event aims to empower women from local bustees by providing them a platform to showcase and sell their arts, crafts, and handmade products.
This initiative is focused on promoting skill development, income generation, and financial empowerment among marginalized women artisans.
By offering a direct marketing opportunity to the public, the exhibition will encourage local entrepreneurship and support sustainable livelihood practices.
To ensure the event’s success, Tata Steel Foundation will assist local women entrepreneurs with space, infrastructure, and support in product display, pricing, and promotion.
More than 30 stalls, including 6 food stalls, will be set up inside the community center, with the stalls open to the public from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily.
The exhibition will be inaugurated today at Sonari Community Centre from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with Mr. Amar Singh, Principal of Co-operative College Jamshedpur, serving as the Chief Guest.
