Chain Snatching Incident Reported in Ghatshila

Ex-Junior Engineer’s wife, Triveni Devi, falls victim to chain snatching during morning walk in Kashida LIC Colony.

In a chain snatching incident, Triveni Devi, wife of former Junior Engineer Arjun Prasad of Galudih Swarnarekha Project, was targeted by two motorcycle-borne criminals while on her morning walk in Ghatshila.

JAMSHEDPUR – On Saturday morning, Triveni Devi, a resident of Kashida LIC Colony and wife of former Junior Engineer Arjun Prasad, was the victim of a chain snatching incident near Rajendra Path in Ghatshila.

Two criminals on a motorcycle approached her, asked for directions, and then snatched her chain from behind.

Upon receiving the information, Ghatshila SDPO and the police team rushed to the scene to investigate.

Triveni Devi reported that the culprits fled towards Tamukpal Road after the incident.

She has lodged a written complaint with the Ghatshila police station.

The police are actively investigating the case to apprehend the offenders.
