Military historian Shiv Kunal Verma delivers inspiring address at JMA event

Jamshedpur Management Association’s ‘YODHA’ talk commemorates Kargil Vijay Diwas, featuring renowned author and filmmaker Shiv Kunal Verma as keynote speaker.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur Management Association, in partnership with Young Indians and CII Jamshedpur, hosted a talk titled "YODHA: The Real Heroes of our Country" to honor Kargil Vijay Diwas.

Mr. Shiv Kunal Verma, a celebrated military historian, filmmaker, and author, delivered the keynote address at the Centre for Excellence Auditorium.

The event showcased Verma’s expertise in military history and filmmaking, with his notable works including "Project Tiger," "Kargil War," and "Aakash Yodha."

Verma’s literary contributions, such as "Courage & Conviction" and "The War That Wasn’t," have also garnered significant acclaim.

The talk emphasized the crucial role of leadership and maintaining a positive attitude in challenging situations.

Verma shared personal anecdotes about his family’s unwavering support during his war documentation projects, highlighting their dedication.

Special guests at the event included Mr. Vishal Agarwalla, Board Member of JMA and National Chairperson of Young Indians, and Prof. Sunil Sarangi of XLRI.

Ms. Annesha Partha Mishra’s stirring musical performance added to the patriotic atmosphere, deeply moving the audience.

Representatives from prestigious institutions like Arka Jain University, NSU, Srinath University, and XITE participated enthusiastically in the event.

Major corporations such as Tata Steel and Tata Motors also sent representatives to the commemoration.

The ‘YODHA’ talk served as a powerful demonstration of unity and respect for India’s heroes, bringing together diverse segments of the Jamshedpur community.
