Young Innovators Set to Shine at XLRI’s Navishkar 2024 Finale
XLRI to host India’s largest youth innovation event on July 29-30
Jamshedpur prepares to welcome top young innovators from across India for a groundbreaking showcase of creativity and entrepreneurship.
JAMSHEDPUR – The city of Jamshedpur is abuzz with excitement as XLRI, the ace management institute of India, prepares to host the grand finale of Navishkar 2024. This would be a nationwide celebration of youthful innovation and enterprise.
An impressive 865 submissions from aspiring entrepreneurs across 19 states and 75 cities have been received for this prestigious event that is being awaited by the enterprising individuals as well as students.
A diverse pool of participants has been effectively engaged by the initiative, with a quarter of submissions coming from innovators under the age of 20 and 38% from women founders.
Amar Nath Singh Chouhan, a prominent organizer, emphasized the event’s effectiveness in encouraging innovation among young people aged 23–26, who accounted for 70% of the entries.
The top 12 teams, which were chosen after an intensive bootcamp and mentorship program that involved 15 industry experts, will be featured in the grand finale.
"Navishkar 2024 is not merely a competition; it is a platform for the development of the next generation of entrepreneurs," stated one of the event coordinators.
Workshops, panel discussions, and a start-up showcase will be included in the two-day event, which will offer participants invaluable networking opportunities and exposure.
The Shark Tank Pitch, which will be a standout moment of the finale, will feature start-ups presenting their concepts to a panel of experienced investors.
The event will be graced by distinguished speakers and visitors from a variety of industries, who will provide the young innovators with valuable insights and potential investment opportunities.
The organizers anticipate that this event will stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship in Eastern India, which accounted for 39% of the total submissions.
