State government introduces new welfare schemes, infrastructure projects to drive growth.
Jharkhand Chief Minister highlighted the state’s development potential and introduced various initiatives at a ceremony in Rajmahal, Sahibganj district.
RAJMAHAL – Jharkhand Chief Minister underscored the limitless potential for development in the state and introduced several welfare schemes and infrastructure projects at a ceremony held in Rajmahal, Sahibganj district.
The Chief Minister assured citizens that the state government is committed to continuous progress and development.
He extended greetings for the beginning of Shravan month and the first Somwari.
The government is introducing a respect allowance for women aged 21 to 50, with special camps planned across the state for applications.
The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of genuine, long-term benefits from government projects.
"Our plans are designed to empower you and future generations," he stated.
The government is dedicated to the holistic development of the state, ensuring benefits reach all social strata.
The Chief Minister reiterated the state’s commitment to self-sufficiency and encouraged collective efforts to solve existing challenges.
Rajmahal, known for its historical, religious, and tourism significance, will see new development projects, including efforts to prevent erosion by the Ganga River and improve transportation.
Plans for an airstrip and a ropeway in Rajmahal are under consideration to boost tourism.
At the event, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation for 34 development projects worth approximately Rs 88.84 crore.
This includes the foundation of 31 projects worth Rs 86.80 crore and the inauguration of three projects.
Additionally, assets worth over Rs 38.80 crore were distributed to 10,141 beneficiaries in Rajmahal and Barhait.
Rajmahal MP Vijay Kumar Hansda, MLA Anant Ojha, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Avinash Kumar, the district commissioner, and the superintendent of police were among the attendees.
