JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur East Assembly Youth Congress Committee hosted a free health check-up camp on Sunday, drawing a substantial turnout of local residents.

The event, held in the community hall behind Bhuiyandih Park, provided medical services to more than 268 individuals.

Former MP Dr. Ajay Kumar, who attended as the chief guest, announced plans for regular health initiatives.

“We’re committed to organizing health camps every Sunday across different areas to ensure our community stays healthy and fit,” Dr. Kumar stated.

Neeraj Sahu, President of the Jamshedpur East Assembly Youth Congress Committee, spearheaded the organization of the camp.

“Our goal is to make healthcare accessible to all members of our community,” Sahu explained. “This camp is just the beginning of our ongoing service work.”

The event saw participation from various Youth Congress officials, including State Secretary Rakesh Sahu and Jamshedpur City President Dharmendra Sonkar.

Former District President Nattu Jha and other local leaders were also present, underlining the community-wide support for the initiative.

Several volunteers, including Prakash Gupta, Pradeep Yadav, and Vivek Singh, contributed to the camp’s success.

This health camp marks the beginning of a series of similar events aimed at promoting wellness and providing free medical services in the Jamshedpur East area.
