An unidentified man’s body was found hanging from a tree in the forest near Kuiyani, Bodam, Jamshedpur on Tuesday.
JAMSHEDPUR – The body of an unidentified man, approximately 35 years old, was discovered hanging from a tree in the forest near Kuiyani, Bodam, Jamshedpur, on Tuesday.
The incident came to light when local residents informed the Bodam police.
Upon receiving the information, Bodam Police Station in-charge Upendra Narayan Singh and his team arrived at the scene.
The body was found hanging with the help of a cloth.
Efforts to identify the deceased by showing the body to villagers from nearby areas proved futile as no one could recognize him.
The body has been sent for post-mortem examination after completing the necessary formalities.
The police are continuing their efforts to identify the deceased and determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
