Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy Files FIR in Manhart Scam Case

Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has taken significant legal steps following the Jharkhand High Court’s directive regarding the Manhart scam.

RANCHI – In response to the Jharkhand High Court’s dismissal of a writ petition related to the Anti-Corruption Bureau’s investigation, Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has filed an FIR at the Doranda police station in Ranchi on July 11.

The court had instructed Roy to either file an FIR or initiate legal proceedings in compliance with its decision.

The FIR submitted by Roy contains detailed allegations and evidence against former Chief Minister Raghubar Das and senior bureaucrat Rajbala Verma concerning their involvement in the Manhart scam.

Roy has urged the police to conduct a thorough investigation as per the court’s order and take appropriate legal actions against those responsible.

A representative for Roy stated, "We are committed to ensuring justice is served and that the responsible parties are held accountable."
