BJP Sundarnagar Mandal Protests For Road Construction And Public Issues
Demonstration Held Near Karandih Railway Gate, Memorandum Submitted To BDO
Party warns of larger movement if demands not addressed promptly.
JAMSHEDPUR – The BJP Sundarnagar Mandal organized a protest on Saturday, urging for the prompt construction of the Karandih to Parsudih main road and the resolution of other matters of public concern.
"The road from Karandih Chowk to Shitla Chowk Parsudih, which has been dug up, is leading to frequent accidents," said Subodh Jha, a BJP official.
A group of protesters handed over a memorandum to Dr. Sudha Verma, who is a BDO, to express their demands.
Some of the issues that have been raised include blocked drains, leaking water connections, and unauthorized parking at Karandih Chowk.
"The daily traffic jams at Karandih Chowk are causing a lot of inconvenience," Jha added.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has issued a warning, stating that if the issues at hand are not promptly addressed, there may be a larger movement in the future.
The demonstration was attended by Upendranath Sardar, Kusum Purty, and several other local party workers.
The protest brought attention to the ongoing issues with infrastructure and public services in the area.
The BDO, Mr. Verma, was informed about the long-lasting blockage of a drain near the old tehsil office.
This demonstration highlights the increasing frustration that the public is experiencing due to problems with local infrastructure.
