Third Gender Community Distributes Plants on Pride Month’s Last Day
Community members appeal for planting trees to combat heat
The third gender community distributed plants to the public in Bistupur, urging everyone to plant at least one tree.
JAMSHEDPUR – On the final day of Pride Month, the third gender community, under the banner of Utthan, distributed plants to people at the Bistupur light signal.
They emphasized the importance of planting trees to combat the rising temperatures experienced this year.
The community members explained that deforestation for convenience disrupts nature’s balance, warning that if the situation continues, greater calamities will follow.
They stressed the responsibility of each individual to maintain ecological balance by planting trees.
Understood this responsibility, Utthan members distributed various plants, including mango and lemon saplings.
"We need to work together to continue this effort. Trees are vital for our survival," said Amarjeet Singh, secretary of Utthan CBO.
The event was supported by key contributors including Dr. Abhishek, Julie, Sweety, Hemant, Arpit, and Kiran.
The community’s initiative aims to raise awareness and encourage more people to contribute to a greener environment.
