Jamshedpur Artistes Win Awards in National Drama Competition in Shimla

‘Ek Aur Dronacharya’ Earns Acclaim, Multiple Awards for Local Talent

Jamshedpur artists achieved significant success with the play ‘Ek Aur Dronacharya’ at the national drama competition in Shimla, winning several awards.

JAMSHEDPUR – The play ‘Ek Aur Dronacharya,’ written by Dr. Shankar Shesh and directed by Anuj Prasad, achieved significant success at the national drama competition held in Shimla and Solan, Himachal Pradesh.

The competition featured 32 teams, with ‘Ek Aur Dronacharya’ securing the second prize overall.

Individual accolades were awarded to several Jamshedpur artists for their performances.

Amit Kumar received the award for best actor, Akshat Singh was recognized as the best child artist, Komal Thakur won the second supporting actress award, Binod Kumar was honored as the second supporting actor, and Isha Singh was named the second best actress.

To celebrate these achievements, a grand program was organized at G Town Club to honor all the artists.

The event featured esteemed guests, including Mr. Vijay Singh Rana, senior theater artist Hari Mittal, Nizam Khan, Mrs. Ragini Bhushan, and Dr. Prasenjit Tiwari, who all encouraged and congratulated the artists.

During the program, the artists shared their experiences and expressed their commitment to revitalizing theater in Jamshedpur.

Vijay Singh Rana praised director Anuj Prasad for his exceptional direction.

Hari Mittal advised the award-winning artists to remain humble despite their success.

Nizam Khan appreciated the hard work and dedication of the artists.

Dr. Prasenjit Tiwari pledged full support to the team.
