FIR Filed in Adityapur Firing Case Involving Land Dealer Rocky Kalindi and Son
Police Investigate Shooting Incident Amid Rising Crime in Shanti Nagar
On Friday evening, the Adityapur police registered an FIR in the shooting case involving government land dealer Rocky Kalindi and his three-year-old son, Samar Kalindi.
JAMSHEDPUR – An FIR has been filed based on the statement of Rocky’s wife, Dashmati Kalindi, following the shooting incident on Friday evening.
The case names JMM leader Rajesh Gop, Ajay Tudu, Ravi, and others as accused.
The police have commenced investigations and are actively pursuing the suspects.
Rocky Kalindi, who was shot in the back, is now out of danger.
However, his son, Samar, remains in critical condition and is receiving treatment at Tata Main Hospital (TMH).
The conflict between Rocky and Rajesh Gop, who were once partners dealing in forest land in Shanti Nagar, is believed to be the motive behind the attack.
Their rivalry intensified recently as they began attracting different customers for land deals.
On Friday, five individuals on two motorcycles attacked Rocky while he was taking his son for a walk.
During the attack, Rocky was hit in the back, and his son sustained serious injuries from bullet pellets.
Police station in-charge Nitin Kumar Singh confirmed that a case has been registered and raids are underway to apprehend the accused.
"The accused will be arrested soon," Singh assured.
The incident has caused unrest in Shanti Nagar, a locality already troubled by increasing crime rates in recent times.
Residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
