Criminals Attack Youth RJD Leader’s Brother in Adityapur

Fearless Attack Highlights Rising Crime in Seraikela Kharsawan Area

Criminal activity is escalating in Adityapur, with a recent attack on Youth RJD leader’s brother and his friend, raising concerns about the effectiveness of local law enforcement.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a disturbing incident late Monday night, Youth RJD District President Udit Yadav’s brother Vivek Yadav and his friend Jaspreet alias Bhuttar were attacked by armed criminals in the Adityapur police station area of Seraikela Kharsawan.

The attack occurred near National Electronics, where the assailants, driving a Swift Dzire, opened fire on Vivek and Jaspreet after an altercation at a tea stall near BDS Mall.

Jaspreet sustained a gunshot wound to the stomach, while Vivek was injured near the neck.

Both victims are currently receiving treatment at Tata Main Hospital.

According to reports, the dispute began at the tea stall, after which Vivek and Jaspreet left in their car.

The attackers followed them and began firing indiscriminately once they stopped near National Electronics.

The assailants fled the scene immediately after the attack.

Adityapur police arrived at the scene upon receiving the information and have started investigating the case, including reviewing CCTV footage from the area.

However, an FIR has not yet been registered.

This attack follows a series of violent incidents in the area, including the unresolved murder of Kuldeep Thakur in Satbahini Jamalpur on Sunday and the assault on Rocky Kalindi and his 3-year-old son in Shanti Nagar on Friday.

The repeated occurrences of such incidents have posed a significant challenge to the local police, raising concerns about the effectiveness of law enforcement in the region.

Residents are keenly watching how quickly the police can apprehend the criminals involved and restore a sense of safety in the community.
