Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren intensifies efforts for implementing PESA rules with detailed presentations and guidelines
Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren has intensified the process of implementing PESA rules, with a detailed review and presentation by the Panchayati Raj Department.
RANCHI – Under the chairmanship of Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren, the process of implementing PESA (Panchayats (Extension to Scheduled Areas) Act) rules has gained momentum.
During a session in the Jharkhand Ministry, officials from the Panchayati Raj Department presented “PESA-An Introduction and Road Map” through a PowerPoint presentation in front of Chief Minister Soren.
While reviewing the presentation, the Chief Minister provided numerous important guidelines to the officials.
Several key points were discussed in detail between the Chief Minister and the officials to ensure the swift implementation of the PESA law in the state.
Chief Minister Soren emphasized the moral responsibility of all officials to establish better PESA rules in Jharkhand.
Minister Deepak Biruwa, Chief Secretary L Khiangte, Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Avinash Kumar, Principal Secretary of Panchayati Raj Department Vinay Kumar Choubey, Secretary to the Chief Minister Arwa Rajkamal, Secretary of Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, Minority and Backward Class Welfare Department Kripananda Jha, and Director of Panchayati Raj Nisha Oraon were among the officials present during the review session.
The Chief Minister’s review session highlighted the government’s commitment to ensuring the effective implementation of PESA rules for the welfare of Scheduled Areas in Jharkhand.
"This is a collective responsibility, and we must all work together to create effective PESA regulations," said Chief Minister Champai Soren.
The detailed discussions and guidelines set forth during the session aim to expedite the process and address any challenges in implementing the PESA law.
