South Eastern Railway Announces Train Service Changes Due to Development Works

Several Cancellations and Rescheduling in Chakradharpur Division on June 12, 2024

The South Eastern Railway has announced modifications to train services due to ongoing development works in the Chakradharpur Division.

JAMSHEDPUR – The South Eastern Railway has issued a notification regarding the regulation of train services in the Chakradharpur Division due to development works.

The changes will be effective on June 12, 2024.

Cancellation of Trains:

– The Tatanagar-Itwari-Tatanagar Express (18109/18110) will be cancelled.

– The Rourkela-Jharsuguda-Rourkela MEMU Special (08167/08168) will be cancelled.

– The Tatanagar-Bilaspur-Tatanagar Express (18113/18114) will be cancelled.

– The Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela Express (18125/18126) will be cancelled.

– The Rourkela-Jagdalpur-Rourkela Intercity Express (18107/18108) will be cancelled.

– The Hatia-Jharsuguda-Hatia MEMU (18175/18176) will be cancelled.

– The Rourkela-Gunupur-Rourkela Rajya Rani Express (18117/18118) will be cancelled.

– The Chakradharpur-Rourkela-Chakradharpur MEMU Passenger (08163/08164) will be cancelled.

Rescheduling of Trains:

– The Howrah-CSMT Mumbai Duronto (12262) will depart from Howrah at 12:45 instead of 05:45 hours on June 12, 2024.

Short Termination/Short Origination of Trains:

– The Howrah-Titlagarh Ispat Express (12871) will short terminate at Chakradharpur and continue as a Passenger Special from Chakradharpur to Howrah.

– The Kantabanji-Howrah Ispat Express (22862) will short terminate at Jharsuguda and continue as a Passenger Special from Jharsuguda to Titlagarh.

– The Ara-Durg Express (13288) on June 11, 2024, will short terminate at Rourkela and resume as 13287 Express on June 12, 2024, from Rourkela to Ara. The service will be cancelled between Rourkela-Durg-Rourkela.

– The Puri-Hatia Tapaswini Express (18452) on June 11, 2024, will short terminate at Sambalpur and resume as 18451 Express on June 12, 2024, from Sambalpur to Puri. The service will be cancelled between Sambalpur-Hatia-Sambalpur.

– The Puri-Rourkela-Puri Vande Bharat Express (20836/20835) will be short terminated at/short originated from Jharsuguda. The service will be cancelled between Jharsuguda – Rourkela – Jharsuguda.

– The Sambalpur-Gorakhpur Maurya Express (15027) on June 12, 2024, and Gorakhpur-Sambalpur Maurya Express (15028) on June 11, 2024, will short originate/short terminate at Hatia. The services will be cancelled between Hatia-Sambalpur-Hatia.

These adjustments are necessary to accommodate the development works while ensuring minimal disruption to passenger services.

Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and stay updated with any further announcements.
