Mobile Phone Thief Caught by RPF Post Anara in Adra Mandal

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) Post in Anara, Adra Mandal, apprehended an individual involved in theft on June 8, 2024, recovering two stolen mobile phones worth Rs. 21,279 from him.
TATANAGAR – A theft suspect was apprehended by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) Post Anara on June 8, 2024, in the Adra Mandal area.
The suspect had stolen two mobile phones from passengers, which were valued at Rs. 21,279.
The stolen items were found in his unlawful possession during the operation.
Following his capture, the RPF personnel handed the suspect over to the Government Railway Police (GRP) for further proceedings.
The swift action of the RPF in recovering the stolen mobile phones has been commended.
Incidents of theft on trains are a significant concern, and authorities are continually working to address this issue.
The GRP will now take over the case for additional investigation and appropriate legal action.
A GRP official said: “Ensuring the safety of passengers and their belongings remains a top priority for the railway security forces.”
