Tata Steel Joint Venture Promotes Environmental Awareness Through Employee Engagement

Jamshedpur Continuous Annealing & Processing Company Pvt. Ltd. (JCAPCPL), a joint venture between Tata Steel Downstream Products Limited (TSDPL) and Nippon Steel Corporation, commemorated World Environment Day with a series of activities focused on promoting sustainability and environmental consciousness among its employees.

JAMSHEDPUR – JCAPCPL, a Tata Steel joint venture, marked World Environment Day with various activities aimed at fostering sustainability and eco-friendly practices among its workforce.

The event featured addresses by key company officials, including Mr. Kirit Daxini, Deputy General Manager of EHS & Maintenance, Mr. Atul Bhalerao, Deputy Manager of EHS & Utilities, and Mr. Ajay Kumar Singh, Chief Human Resources Officer.

The speakers emphasized the importance of individual and collective efforts in protecting the environment and encouraged employees to adopt eco-friendly practices both at work and in their personal lives.

Mr. Bhalerao stressed the critical need for environmental stewardship in our daily activities, highlighting the impact of our actions on the planet.
