Kale’s mother Balwant Kaur Khanuja’s Last Rites Performed Amidst Tearful Farewell
Mother of BJP’s Former State Spokesperson Amarpreet Singh Kale Laid to Rest
The last rites of Balwant Kaur Khanuja, the mother of Amarpreet Singh Kale, former state spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), were performed today with traditional rituals amidst a tearful farewell from family, friends, and well-wishers.
JAMSHEDPUR – The city of Jamshedpur witnessed an outpouring of grief and respect as people from various walks of life gathered to bid a final farewell to Balwant Kaur Khanuja, whose passing has left a void in the hearts of many.
The ceremony began with the body of Balwant Kaur being kept for final darshan at her residence in Sakchi at 9:30 AM, allowing loved ones to pay their last respects.
The body was then taken to the Swarnarekha Burning Ghat, with a brief stop at Sakchi Gurudwara for Bhajan Kirtan as part of the last prayer.
Diverse Gathering Pays Homage
The event saw a diverse gathering of individuals from different spheres of life, including political leaders, businessmen, traders, representatives from various organizations, members of the Sikh community, and journalists.
Notable attendees included Saryu Roy, MLA of Jamshedpur East, Mangal Kalindi, MLA of Jugsalai, Laxman Prasad Singh, retired DIG Badkuwar Gagarai, former MLAs Laxman Tudu and Dulal Bhuiyan, and Hidayat Khan, Chairman of the State Minority Commission, among others.
"Balwant Kaur Khanuja’s passing is a great loss not only to her family but to the entire community," expressed a close family friend. "Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to her values will always be remembered and cherished."
The presence of leaders from different political parties, including the BJP, Congress, and others, highlighted the respect and admiration Balwant Kaur commanded across party lines.
Family Grieves, Community Stands in Support
The ceremony concluded with the cremation at Swarnarekha Burning Ghat, followed by the Ardaas, a Sikh prayer, at Sakchi Gurudwara.
Balwant Kaur Khanuja’s sons, Trilochan Singh Pammi, Daljit Singh Raje, Amarpreet Singh Kale, and Ranveer Singh Babbu, were present to perform the last rites and partake in the ceremonies, their grief palpable yet supported by the strength of the community.
The gathering served as a testament to the impact Balwant Kaur Khanuja had on the lives of those around her, and the void her absence will leave in the hearts of many.
