Security measures are being prepared for PM Modi’s upcoming visit to Dumka, marking his fourth trip to Jharkhand as prime minister.
RANCHI – Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jharkhand on May 28 for the fourth time as prime minister.
He will address the BJP’s Vijay Sankalp Sabha in Dumka to garner support for Sita Soren.
Members of the Special Protection Group (SPG) have convened to discuss security arrangements for the event.
Guidelines have been issued for the construction of the pandal at Dumka airport, detailing the entry for common people and VIPs.
Modi has previously visited Dumka three times: twice for election rallies and once to launch the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana.
The installation of a German hangar at Dumka airport is currently underway at a rapid pace.
Local officials met with SPG personnel on Sunday to finalize security plans.
The prime minister’s public meeting was initially planned in Madhuban of Jama and then in Littipara of Rajmahal parliamentary constituency but was rescheduled to Dumka.
Sita Soren, the party candidate from the Dumka Lok Sabha seat, will receive support from PM Modi during this visit.
