Bistupur Police Arrest Three Members of Theft and Snatching Gang in Jamshedpur

Stolen Items Recovered Include Motorcycle, Ladies Bag, Mobile Phone, and Cash

Police from Bistupur police station in Jamshedpur have arrested three individuals involved in theft and snatching incidents in the area.

JAMSHEDPUR – Bistupur police have apprehended three members of a gang responsible for theft and snatching in Jamshedpur.

The arrested individuals are identified as Vikas Mahato, a resident of Bagbera Colony, Yash Sharma alias Sardar alias Bawana, and Ravi Kumar alias Rider, both residents of Bagbera CP Tola.

The police recovered a Splendor Plus motorcycle, a ladies bag snatched from a passerby, a broken plastic box, a stolen mobile phone, and a money bag containing ₹400 from the suspects.

Inside the money bag, two Aadhar cards were found, belonging to Thursday Soren and her husband Supai Soren.

The gang had committed two theft incidents within the Bistupur police station area.

Following these incidents, the police formed a special team which led to the arrests.

The recovered items and the arrests highlight the police’s ongoing efforts to combat theft and snatching in the area.
