Operation Near Moharda Basti Yields Significant Results

In a major breakthrough as part of an ongoing anti-crime campaign, Jamshedpur Police apprehended two individuals in possession of illegal firearms near Moharda Basti.

JAMSHEDPUR – As part of an intensified anti-crime initiative, Jamshedpur Police successfully arrested two individuals found with illegal firearms near Moharda Basti, close to Nirmal Store, under the jurisdiction of Birsa Nagar Police Station.

The operation, aimed at curbing rising crime rates in the city, resulted in the seizure of two country-made pistols, four live bullets, three mobile phones, and a Hyundai i10 car.

Authorities intercepted the suspects during a routine vehicle check. Their suspicious behavior led officers to conduct a thorough search, uncovering the illegal items.

The suspects were promptly taken into custody and later transferred to judicial custody.

A police spokesperson highlighted the department’s commitment to tackling illegal activities and ensuring the safety of residents.

“The successful operation near Moharda Basti is a testament to the vigilance and dedication of our officers. We are committed to maintaining law and order in Jamshedpur and will not tolerate any form of criminal activity,” said the spokesperson.

The arrested individuals will face charges related to the illegal possession of firearms and ammunition. Further investigations are underway to determine any connections to other criminal activities in the region.
