Six Suspects Detained in Connection With Bagbera and Mango Shootings, Police Recover Arms and Ammunition
Jamshedpur Police have successfully detained six individuals linked to the recent shooting incidents in Bagbera and Mango.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur Police have made significant progress by apprehending six suspects involved in the firing incidents at the residences of Bijay Singh Monu in Bagbera and Guddu Pandey in Ulidih, Mango.
Those arrested include David Toppo, Abhimanyu Singh alias Chintu Singh, Mohammad Chand alias Mohammad Nazir, Brijesh Kumar Pandey, Neeraj Kumar Dubey, and Sunil Rajak.
Authorities recovered six firearms and several rifles from the suspects.
In addition, the police seized 102 rounds of ammunition from the arrested individuals.
A gray scooty and a TVS Apache motorcycle, which were used in the incidents, have also been confiscated.
Jamshedpur SSP Kishore Kaushal mentioned that numerous criminal cases have been registered against the accused.
A repeater gun with 48 bullets was recovered from Sintu Singh, while David was found with a pistol and 16 bullets.
Neeraj Dubey had a pistol with 11 bullets in his possession.
Chand was caught with two pistols and 17 bullets, and Sunil had a country-made pistol with 10 bullets.
Additionally, a mobile phone was seized from Brijesh.
The Bagbera incident reportedly stemmed from personal animosities and a land dispute.
David Toppo, Mohammad Chand, Brijesh Pandey, and Neeraj Dubey, who were involved in the Bagbera case, were apprehended in Kolkata.
In connection with this case, the police had earlier arrested Kanhaiya Singh.
The success of the Jamshedpur Police in this operation has been widely recognized.
