Budding Medical Minds Showcase Intellectual Prowess and Artistic Talents in Thrilling Event

Manipal Tata Medical College (MTMC) in Jamshedpur recently hosted the extraordinary Biofest 2024 event, a state-level quiz and poster-making extravaganza that brought together brilliant minds from prestigious institutions across Jharkhand to celebrate intellectual excellence and creative genius.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a dazzling display of knowledge and artistry, Manipal Tata Medical College (MTMC) in Jamshedpur successfully organized the Biofest 2024 event, providing a platform for aspiring medical professionals to showcase their intellectual prowess and creative talents.

The event drew participants from esteemed medical colleges across Jharkhand, including MGM Medical College Jamshedpur, Lakshmi Chandravanshi Medical College Palamu, SBMCH Hazaribagh, and PJMCH Dumka, alongside teams from the host institution, MTMC Jamshedpur.

After intense preliminary rounds, 28 finalists from seven teams emerged to compete in the grand finale.

The competition unfolded under the watchful eyes of distinguished judges, Dr. Matin Ahmad Khan, Professor and HOD Biochemistry of LCMCH Palamu, and in the presence of esteemed dignitaries such as the Dean of MTMC, Director of Academics and Quality, Associate Deans, and HOD Biochemistry.

Participants faced six challenging rounds that tested their knowledge and quick thinking skills.

MTMC Jamshedpur dominated the competition, securing both the first and second positions, while LCMCH Palamu clinched a commendable third place.

The victorious team, Rosalind, from MTMC Jamshedpur, demonstrated exceptional teamwork, sharp wit, and an in-depth understanding of medical sciences, enabling them to overcome fierce competition and claim the top spot.

Alongside the quiz, the poster-making competition added a creative dimension to the event, showcasing the artistic talents within the medical community.

Elice Topno from RIMS Ranchi emerged as the champion, while Tanishqa Garg from MTMC Jamshedpur and Ankit Maity from LCMCH Palamu secured the second and third positions, respectively.

The seamless execution of the event by the Biochemistry department was widely appreciated, leaving a lasting impression on both participants and the audience.

The Biofest-2024 Jharkhand State-level Quiz and Poster Making Competition not only celebrated knowledge and creativity but also fostered a sense of camaraderie among the young medical enthusiasts.

The event sets a new standard for future competitions in the field, inspiring the next generation of healthcare leaders to pursue excellence in their chosen paths.
