Ramtahal Chaudhary Expresses Disappointment Over Denied Congress Ticket

Former MP Feels Betrayed After Recent Party Switch Yields No Election Ticket

Ramtahal Chaudhary, the five-time MP from Ranchi, publicly aired his grievances after failing to secure a ticket from the Congress party, despite recent assurances.

RANCHI – Ramtahal Chaudhary, previously a prominent figure in Ranchi’s political scene, has expressed his disillusionment with the Congress party following his unsuccessful bid to secure a nomination.

Having switched from the BJP to Congress recently with expectations of contesting elections, Chaudhary was disheartened by the party’s decision not to grant him a ticket.

His political career, marked by a fallout with the BJP and an independent run in 2019, reflects ongoing challenges and shifting alliances influenced by his strong supporter base.

Chaudhary described his recent visit to Delhi, where he held discussions with Congress leaders who initially promised to back his candidacy due to his extensive experience.

However, the party’s subsequent denial of a ticket left him and his supporters feeling cheated, questioning the sincerity of the promises made to him.

Chaudhary emphasized that his move to Congress was not just to represent the party but to continue actively serving his constituency under a new banner.
