Students of Loyola School Celebrate Earth Day with Presentations and Dance

Loyola School in Jamshedpur conducted a special assembly in honor of World Earth Day, featuring student pledges, presentations, and a dance performance dedicated to environmental conservation.

JAMSHEDPUR – Loyola School students commemorated World Earth Day with a series of events that underscored their commitment to environmental stewardship.

The day began with a prayer and a pledge by the students to actively preserve and protect Earth.

The assembly featured a thought-provoking presentation, where students discussed the critical need to combat climate change and shared various strategies for sustainable living.

This was followed by a dance performance that artistically highlighted the urgency of environmental protection and the global effort required to mitigate the impact of global warming.

Fr. Vinod Fernandes, Principal of Loyola School, praised the students for their dedication to environmental issues.

In his speech, he emphasized the significance of Earth Day and discussed the school’s engagement with the Tarumitra project, which aims to foster environmental awareness among students.

Additionally, the day was marked by the recognition of ten alumni who returned to the school to teach classes, filling in for teachers occupied with Board examination duties.

This gesture not only supported the school’s academic needs but also strengthened the community ties within the Loyola family.
