Upgraded Middle School, Tangrain Organizes Educational and Civic Engagement Events Ahead of General Elections
Parents of Upgraded Middle School in Tangrain have committed to a 100% voter turnout for the upcoming general elections on Saturday, May 25.
JAMSHEDPUR – At a special meeting organized by Upgraded Middle School in Tangrain, parents over 18 years old pledged to fully participate in the forthcoming general elections.
The event also saw the inauguration of a democracy room by students, aimed at educating local villagers on the voting process and promoting civic responsibility.
Concurrently, a School Management Committee meeting highlighted various educational initiatives such as Project Impact, Rail Project, Prayas, and Bal Sansad, with Principal Arbind Tiwari outlining efforts to improve educational standards.
Dignitaries like School Management Committee Chairman Mangala Majhi and Vice President Lakshmi Patro addressed the gathering, emphasizing community involvement in school activities.
The day was also marked by a farewell ceremony for eighth-grade students, featuring dance performances and refreshments, managed by Sanjana Patro, a seventh-grader.
Additionally, to boost English literacy, the school launched a Reading Challenge in partnership with Asha Infinity, Bengaluru. This initiative delivers daily educational videos to 40 children enrolled in the program, enhancing their English skills through interactive methods.
