Grand Kalash Yatra Marks Inauguration of Shiv Pran Pratishtha Yagya at Shiv Sheetala Temple

Thousands of Women Participate in Devotional Procession, MLA Mangal Kalindi and Other Dignitaries Grace the Event

The Shri Shri Shiv Sheetala Temple in Chhota Govindpur, Jamshedpur, witnessed a spectacular commencement of the Shiv Pran Pratishtha Yagya with a grand Kalash Yatra. The event saw an overwhelming participation of thousands of women who gathered early in the morning to fill water in urns from Harlanji Ghat and embark on a devotional procession through Govindpur, culminating at the temple premises.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a magnificent display of devotion and community spirit, the Shiv Pran Pratishtha Yagya at Shri Shri Shiv Sheetala Temple in Chhota Govindpur, Jamshedpur, began with a resplendent Kalash Yatra.

The early hours of the morning saw a large gathering of thousands of women who converged at Harlanji Ghat to fill water in sacred urns, their voices resonating with devotional songs as they set out on a spiritual journey.

The procession wound its way through the streets of Govindpur, carrying the heartfelt wishes and prayers of the community for the well-being of all the families residing in the area.

The temple premises reverberated with an atmosphere of reverence and joy as the Kalash Yatra reached its destination, marking the commencement of the Yagya with the Mandap Puja.

The event was graced by the presence of several prominent figures, including the popular MLA of the area, Mangal Kalindi, former vice president of Zilla Parishad, Rajkumar Singh, current vice president, Pankaj Sinha, and Zilla Parishad member, Dr. Paritosh Singh, who actively participated in the Kalash Yatra.

Acharya Rajkumar Tiwari, the esteemed spiritual leader of the temple, shared details about the upcoming events associated with the Yagya.

Following the Kalash Yatra, the mandap will be entered after worshiping, and on Sunday, after the Bibhinh Adhivas, a grand procession will be taken out, traversing through the city.

The success of the Yagya can be attributed to the tireless efforts and contributions of the Shiv family, including Neeraj Srivastava, Acharya Rajkumar Tiwari, Shrikant Baba, Deepu, Bhim Raj Agarwal, Karthik, Tutun, Sushil Agarwal, Sanjeev, Gudiya, Babita Agarwal, Mona Devi, Asha Devi, Priika, and Richa.

Their dedication and commitment have been instrumental in ensuring the smooth conduct of the sacred event.

The Shiv Pran Pratishtha Yagya at Shri Shri Shiv Shitala Temple serves as a testament to the deep-rooted spiritual beliefs and the strong sense of community that thrives in Chhota Govindpur.
