Muslims Offer Prayers at Mosques and Eidgahs, Sarhul Processions Taken Out Across the State
Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramzan, is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across the nation, including Jamshedpur and other parts of Jharkhand. Muslims, dressed in their traditional finery, gathered at mosques and Eidgahs to offer prayers on this auspicious occasion.
JAMSHEDPUR – The state of Jharkhand is immersed in a festive spirit as Eid and the nature festival Sarhul are being celebrated with great fervor and traditional gaiety.
Muslims across Jamshedpur and other towns and cities of Jharkhand congregated at mosques and Eidgahs to offer prayers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, signifying the end of the sacred month of Ramzan.
The morning prayers witnessed huge congregations at various mosques throughout the state, as the faithful came together to seek blessings and express their gratitude.
While the Muslim community engaged in Eid prayers, the streets of different districts in Jharkhand came alive with vibrant Sarhul processions.
The parallel celebrations of Eid and Sarhul showcased the rich cultural tapestry of the state, with people from diverse backgrounds coming together to share in the joy and festivity.
Congratulations and good wishes poured in from all quarters, with prominent leaders and ministers extending their greetings to the people of Jharkhand.
Chief Minister Champai Soren and Governor CP Radhakrishnan took to social media to convey their heartfelt wishes on the occasion of Eid and Sarhul.
Kalpana Soren, wife of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, also shared her warm wishes through Hemant Soren’s social media account.
In her message, she appealed to the people of the entire country to participate in the Sarhul festival and emphasized the importance of conserving the environment, stating that protecting nature is everyone’s responsibility.
BJP State President Babulal Marandi joined in the festivities by congratulating all the people of the state on Sarhul.
While wishing Eid, he prayed for happiness to fill everyone’s life, spreading a message of unity and goodwill.
Union Minister and Khunti MP Arjun Munda also extended his heartfelt wishes to the people, wishing them a happy Eid and Sarhul.
