JAMSHEDPUR – Ahead of the significant local festivals Chaiti Chhath and Ram Navami, Jamshedpur’s district administration has intensified preparations, focusing on ensuring cleanliness and safety for the celebrations.
SDO Parul Singh, during inspections of Chhath Ghats, emphasized the importance of starting cleanliness operations promptly to meet the festivals’ schedules.
Singh provided comprehensive guidelines to JNAC officials to guarantee the smooth execution of both festivals, prioritizing public safety and environmental cleanliness.
Key officials from JNAC, RCD, and local law enforcement were present, demonstrating a collaborative effort in the planning and execution of the festivities.
This year, the Ram Navami procession immersion is scheduled for April 18, following the observance of Chaiti Chhath on April 15 and 16.
