Major Liquor Raid in Baharagora
123 Liters of Illegal Liquor Seized from Uinala Village
In a significant operation against illegal liquor trade, Baharagora police seized 123 liters of illicit foreign liquor, intensifying crackdowns ahead of Lok Sabha elections.
JAMSHEDPUR – Ghatshila Sub-Divisional Officer Sachchidanand Mahato, Baharagora Block Development Officer Keshav Bharti, and police personnel participated in the raid led by Baharagora PS OC Vikas Kumar Sharma.
Chiranjit Pal, known for smuggling liquor from West Bengal into the region, eluded capture during the police raid at his residence in Uinala village.
Efforts to file an FIR against Chiranjit Pal are in progress following the seizure of 123 bottles of Kingfisher Beer and other brands of illegal liquor.
The confiscated liquor, including various brands and 123 bottles of Kingfisher Beer, originated from West Bengal.
