Potka MLA Sanjib Sardar’s initiative to distribute free drinking water in Posto Nagar highlights a community-driven response to water scarcity, benefiting multiple panchayats.

JAMSHEDPUR – A significant step has been taken in Posto Nagar under Baghbeda Colony Panchayat with the launch of a free drinking water distribution service.

This initiative, led by Potka assembly constituency MLA Sanjib Sardar, utilizes a 12 thousand liter tanker from UISL (formerly Jusco) to provide the essential service.

The inauguration was celebrated with traditional rituals by Panchayat representatives and local social workers.

The service aims to cover a total of 14 panchayats, including Bagbera, Karandih, Kitadih, Harharguddu, and Ghaghidih, addressing a critical need for drinking water in these areas.

Panchayat Samiti member Sunil Gupta emphasized the priority of delivering drinking water to identified areas to prevent water scarcity.

The event saw the participation of several community leaders and social workers, underscoring the collective effort behind this project.

Local residents and officials, including Deputy Chief Santosh Thakur and former Chief Bahamuni Hembram, showed their support for this much-needed initiative.

The launch represents a collaborative effort to ensure the well-being of the community by providing an essential resource.
