PM Modi set to boost BJP’s Lok Sabha campaign in Jharkhand

BJP aims to win all 14 seats in the state, with PM’s rallies expected to be larger than 2019

As the Lok Sabha elections approach, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is gearing up to lead the BJP’s campaign in Jharkhand, with the party setting its sights on winning all 14 seats in the state.

RANCHI – With the Lok Sabha polls scheduled to be held in four phases starting from May 13, the BJP is leaving no stone unturned to secure a clean sweep in Jharkhand.

Prime Minister Modi himself is expected to address massive election rallies across the state, with party insiders suggesting that the scale of these events will surpass his 2019 campaign.

In the previous Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi had kicked off his campaign with a road show in Ranchi, followed by public meetings in Lohardaga on April 24 and Jamua on April 29, 2019.

The NDA’s efforts paid off, as they won a record 12 out of the 14 seats in Jharkhand.

Discussions are currently underway between the BJP central leadership and the state office regarding the Prime Minister’s upcoming visit, with a finalized schedule expected to be announced soon.

Apart from PM Modi, BJP National President JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are also set to hit the campaign trail in Jharkhand.

The party is in the process of deciding the election tour programs for both central and state-level leaders.

"The program of central and state level leaders is being decided regarding the election campaign, which includes Prime Minister Modi as well as all the big faces," said Aditya Sahu, Rajya Sabha member and BJP State General Secretary, adding that the list of star campaigners will be released soon.
