JAMSHEDPUR – Authorities are diligently investigating a hit-and-run incident along NH 49 that resulted in the death of 63-year-old Bhanu Munda. The vehicle and driver involved in the tragic accident remain unidentified.

Barsole police have taken custody of Munda’s body, which was later sent to Ghatshila for autopsy. The efforts to determine the cause of death and find those responsible are ongoing.

Despite the quick response of local residents and the use of a 108 ambulance to transport Munda to the Community Health Center in Baharagora, he could not be saved. Immediate medical attention was provided, but his injuries proved fatal.

The accident occurred near Khandamouda Chowk, under the jurisdiction of the Barsole police station in the East Singhbhum district. Reportedly, Munda was crossing the road when he was struck by the unidentified vehicle.
