Incentive for female tech education boosts Jharkhand’s academic landscape
In a significant move to promote female technical education in Jharkhand, the state government’s Manki Munda Scholarship Scheme has selected twenty girl students from RVS College of Engineering and Technology for financial support. With this initiative, students enrolled in technical courses like B. Tech and diploma programs will receive annual incentives of up to Rs. 30,000, marking a milestone in the state’s efforts to encourage higher education among women.
JAMSHEDPUR – Twenty girl students from RVS College of Engineering and Technology, now beneficiaries of the Manki Munda Scholarship, highlight the Jharkhand government’s push towards female technical education.
Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari remarked, "This initiative is a visionary leap forward for our state’s development, focusing on technical education for women."
With incentives up to Rs. 30,000 annually, the scholarship aims to lessen financial burdens, promoting more focus on studies. "The financial support is immensely relieving, enabling us to pursue our technical education with fewer worries," shared a scholarship recipient.
The scheme benefits those who completed their 10th or 12th grades in Jharkhand, aiming at diploma or engineering courses. "This scholarship significantly impacts our educational journey, providing us a platform for greater achievements," another student added.
Acknowledging the support, the college’s treasurer expressed gratitude towards the government and Shringa Tandbi for their roles in implementing the scheme. The scholarship not only supports the students financially but also empowers them, contributing to the state’s development through education.
