RANCHI – The reshuffle in Jharkhand’s administration sees significant changes. The Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms, and Official Language announced these shifts. Chandrashekhar moves to the Urban Development Department from the Rural Development Department. He also becomes the Managing Director of JUIDCO and GRDA.

This was confirmed in a March 11 notification, highlighting the dynamic nature of administrative appointments.

Satyendra Kumar adds the Urban Administration, Urban Development, and Housing Department to his responsibilities. Previously, he was the Managing Director of the Jharkhand State Food Corporation. This adjustment reflects the trend of expanding duties for key officials.

Mukesh Kumar, overseeing the Labor, Employment, Training, and Skill Development Department, now also leads the Excise and Prohibition Department. This change aims to strengthen the state’s administrative framework in various sectors.

Amitabh Kaushal is the new Secretary of the Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD). His portfolio includes the Secretary of Disaster Management Division. Kaushal’s diverse responsibilities reflect the state’s trust in his leadership across departments.

Sukhdev Singh, the former Chief Secretary, takes on the role of Chief Resident Commissioner of Jharkhand Bhawan, Delhi. His appointment is part of the state’s effort to improve governance and inter-departmental coordination.
