Tata Steel to Boost Green Steel Manufacturing: Chankya Chaudhary

Tata Steel commits to doubling capacity with an eye on sustainability, ensuring a future-focused approach to steel manufacturing.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel VP (CS), Chanakya Chaudhary today reiterated the company’s focus on environment-oriented manufacturing.

He said that Tata Steel is setting a benchmark in sustainable manufacturing by integrating eco-friendly practices into its operations.

Chaudhary said that he company plans to commercially adopt carbon capture, hydrogen utilization, and scrap incorporation in blast furnaces.

This initiative is part of its strategy to significantly reduce carbon emissions.

Chanakya Chaudhary, the Vice President of Corporate Services, highlighted these measures during a CII Jharkhand event.

He emphasized the critical role of steel in national development, advocating for a sustainable manufacturing approach.

Tata Steel’s commitment to sustainability is evident as it aims to enhance production capacity responsibly.

The company is actively working towards sustainable development, with Chaudhary reaffirming this commitment.
