JAMSHEDPUR – MP Bidyut Baran Mahato has approached Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari with a request for the construction of key roads within the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency utilizing the Central Road Infrastructure Fund.
The roads in question, described as being in a state of disrepair and located in areas impacted by militancy, are crucial for local connectivity and safety.
The proposed roads include a route from Beltand Raghunathpur to Jalla College Chowk, enhancing access to educational institutions and facilitating travel to the West Bengal border.
Improvements are sought for the road from Chakulia Bend to Shanti Nagar, aiming to streamline transit in the region.
The request also covers upgrades to NH-6, connecting Kaliyadinga to Jagannathpur, and to NH-18, facilitating travel from Maheshpur to Balijudi Paharpur.
Another critical project is the road from Katin Mor to Dandudih Road, which would support local communities by improving access to essential services.
The proposal includes the construction of a road from Kankidih to Bankuchiya, further enhancing regional connectivity.
Minister Gadkari has assured MP Mahato that prompt action will be considered for these significant infrastructure developments.
