Md. Taukir Alam Appointed Law and Order DSP, Pledges Smooth Election Process

Md. Taukir Alam officially becomes Jamshedpur’s Law and Order DSP, aiming for peace and harmony during the upcoming elections.

JAMSHEDPUR – Md. Taukir Alam has officially assumed his role as the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) for Law and Order in Jamshedpur, marking a significant transition in the district’s police leadership on Monday.

In his new capacity, DSP Md. Taukir Alam has initiated an inspection tour of the police stations under his jurisdiction, establishing open lines of communication with officers and addressing pressing issues.

Reflecting on his extensive experience, including previous roles in the STF, Chaibasa district, and CID, DSP Md. Taukir Alam brings a wealth of knowledge to his fourth posting.

With the upcoming elections in focus, DSP Md. Taukir Alam is committed to ensuring that the electoral process proceeds smoothly, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between the police and the public to maintain peace.

The DSP’s strategies include following senior officers’ directives and launching special initiatives to bolster law and order, highlighting his dedication to the community’s safety and security.

The formal handover ceremony saw outgoing ASP Sumit Kumar Aggarwal welcoming DSP Md. Taukir Alam with a gesture of goodwill, completing the transition with the necessary administrative formalities.

DSP Md. Taukir Alam calls for mutual harmony and a collaborative approach to minimize disturbances during the election period, underlining his proactive stance on maintaining public order.
